About

David B. Blundin

Dave Blundin has been building at the intersection of AI and entrepreneurship for over three decades. As an undergraduate in MIT's AI Lab, he programmed some of the largest-scale neural networks of his era — and in 1992, pioneered neural network quantization at Scan-Optics, deploying quantized models on custom inference hardware years before the technique went mainstream.

Today he's the Founder & General Partner of Link Ventures, investing through the Link-XPV fund in the next generation of AI founders from MIT and Harvard. He's served as Chairman of 12 companies — including EverQuote (NASDAQ: EVER) — and on 21 private and public boards including XPRIZE. He teaches "AI for Impact: Venture Studio" at MIT — a class so popular it's oversubscribed with ~100 students every semester.
